In-Person Opportunities

  • Teach a life skills class

FAIRLANE MOBILE HOME NEIGHBORHOOD

In-Person Opportunities

  • Clean the Fairlane Community Center Mobile Home (includes 1 bathroom, mopping 2 rooms, wiping down tables and countertops)
  • Build a new small front porch deck for the Community Center (their current desk ir rotting, and you must walk on it to enter)

Large Resource Items

  • Purchase a new screen door for the Community Center (must be purchased specifcally for a mobile home)
  • Repair a small hole in the side of the Community Center

  • Purchase Magformer toys for kids
  • Purchase and install a new door knob for the Community Center
  • Purchase supplies and provide instructions for a fun craft for 30 kids to do after school

FELLOWSHIP MISSIONS

 In-Person Opportunities

  • Volunteer for the New Year's Eve pizza and bingo night (Need 10-12 volunteers. Great for a life group, ABF, or family)
  • Kitchen help (Carry-in meals. Prepare, serve, and cleanup meals. Help wash dishes. Frequency: weekly, monthly. Duration: about 2 hours)
  • Current needs: breakfast help Thursdays, Saturdays, Sundays. Lunch and dinner help on various days throughout the month

HABITAT RESALE STORE

 In-Person Opportunities

  • Cleaning and processing donated items to be sold on the sales floor
  • Help load and unload vehicles of donated items

WORLD COMPASSION NETWORK

In-Person Opportunities

  • Great project for families, Life Groups, ABFs to provide. The shopping list below is the contents for one container. ALL items should be purchased as a unit to pack into a plastic tub (tubs provided).

  • Flashlights (Please include the appropiate sized batteries (and extra ones if possible) with any flashlight or lantern donation)
